Summary

A Summit Air Let L-410 struck this parked Manang Air AS350 (9N-ALC) during a failed takeoff at Lukla Airport. The helicopter toppled onto the lower helipad 6ft below and was destroyed. Three people were killed in the overall incident. Lukla Airport sits at 9,334ft with a 1,729ft runway at 11.7% gradient.
