Robinson R22 crash near Medemblik, Netherlands

Summary
A Lelykopters Robinson R22 Beta II (PH-JGT, manufactured 2003) crashed west of Medemblik after eight successful scenic flights. During transition from hover at approximately one metre to forward flight, the helicopter descended. A skid hit the ground, the main rotor blades struck the ground, and the helicopter rolled over into a ditch. Both occupants sustained only scrapes and bruises.
