Bell 206B crash near Adolfstrom, Sweden

A Bell 206B JetRanger III (SE-JOD, manufactured 1994) operated by Fjallflygarna AB rolled over while attempting to take off from a trailer at the company heli spot in Adolfstrom, Arjeplog, Norrbotten County. The pilot was uninjured but the helicopter sustained substantial damage. The SHK investigation found the cause was the operator's failure to adequately manage the risks of takeoff and landing from a marshalling vehicle for a pilot with limited experience. The design of the landing gear plates in combination with edge controls on the vehicle may have contributed.
