Summary
A helicopter departed Lucca in Tuscany bound for Treviso in northern Italy and disappeared from radar in bad weather over a remote mountainous area on the border between Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna. After a two-day search, rescuers found the wreckage in a valley near a stream, completely burned. All seven on board were killed: four Turkish businessmen from Eczacibasi Consumer Products (a subsidiary of the major Turkish industrial group Eczacibasi), two Lebanese nationals on a business trip, and the Italian pilot.
