Summary
A US Marine Corps Bell UH-1N Iroquois (BuNo 159697) made a hard landing during Exercise Edged Mallet, a joint military exercise with the Kenyan Army. Four Marines were injured. The helicopter was deployed from the USS Bonhomme Richard. The aircraft was destroyed.
